The Undercroft is the Basement of the Church building.
Originally designed to be a fellowship hall when the Church Building was completed in 1938. It was never finished and was used mainly as storage for almost 100 years. We are excited that we are able to finish the space to make it usable for our parish community!
The new, renovated Undercroft will provide us with a dedicated area for parish activities. The project comprises of two spacious restrooms that can be accessed during Masses, a catering kitchen, a main undercroft hall with a seating capacity of 295 people, and modern technology equipment for displaying movies, videos and presentations.
This space will be used for social gatherings after Mass for parishioners, funeral lunches, wedding receptions, adult faith formation opportunities, receptions, family ministry sessions, and so much more.
This also creates a new multipurpose meeting room called the “Scout Room” which will be shared by the parish and Troop 70.
